The story
About this creation
The centre of this pendant is a lab-grown diamond in the emerald cut. Its long, rectangular facets with clipped corners give the stone a clear, glassy look, like light moving through still water.
A halo of small round diamonds follows the outline of the centre stone, set in 18K (750) white gold. The same small stones continue up the bail, so the pendant is finished from every angle. In the photographs it hangs on a fine white-metal chain, which keeps the focus on the stone.
The pendant is finished and in stock. It can be worn every day or kept for occasions, and its restrained shape suits both.

Caring for jewellery matters more than most people expect. Your creation sparkles newly after a gentle cleansing: most gemstones, and diamonds especially, respond beautifully to a wash in mild soapy water. But not every gem. An emerald, for example, must never be washed this way; its natural character asks for a different, gentler care. Please always ask us how to care for your jewellery, and especially for your gemstone. We will gladly show you.
Gold is a soft metal, and it deserves to be worn thoughtfully: removed for sport and heavy work, kept away from chemicals, stored in its box. And once every couple of years, we recommend bringing your jewel to a jeweller so the prongs can be checked for wear; a five-minute inspection protects a stone for a lifetime.
