The story
About this creation
This necklace is built around one square-cut violet spinel of 0.57 ct, held in a simple four-prong setting in 14K white gold. The princess cut shows the stone's deep, smoky violet through its clean facets, and the cool tone of the metal keeps the focus on the colour.
The stone is set directly into a fine anchor chain, 37 cm long. From the setting a single strand of chain falls downwards and ends in a small bar, giving the necklace a elegant Y shape that draws the eye along the neckline. Light and easy to wear, it suits everyday dressing as naturally as an evening outfit.

Caring for your jewellery
Caring for jewellery matters more than most people expect. Your creation sparkles newly after a gentle cleansing: most gemstones, and diamonds especially, respond beautifully to a wash in mild soapy water. But not every gem. An emerald, for example, must never be washed this way; its natural character asks for a different, gentler care. Please always ask us how to care for your jewellery, and especially for your gemstone. We will gladly show you.
Gold is a soft metal, and it deserves to be worn thoughtfully: removed for sport and heavy work, kept away from chemicals, stored in its box. And once every couple of years, we recommend bringing your jewel to a jeweller so the prongs can be checked for wear; a five-minute inspection protects a stone for a lifetime.
